Sea Otter Australia has two exciting bike trials competitions to choose from! We also offer a FREE “Come and Try” option for the new trials enthusiast looking to improve skills and give it a go! Spots are limited so make sure you grab yours today!

Obstacle Course Speed Race
Test your bike handling skills in a head-to-head timed obstacle race where riders negotiate balance beams, ramps and blocks at speed. Two riders compete side by side along an identical course in an adrenaline-fueled spectacle. Riders are expected to complete the course within a maximum of 2-minutes. Time penalties apply for crashes. The top eight riders from each category will carry on to the finals and the top spot on the podium!
Categories (male and female): “Under 15’s”, “Open” (i.e. any bike), and “Bike Trials”.
Max entrants: 50 riders per category and gender

Observed Bike Trials Competition
Natural and man-made objects will stand in your path as you manoeuvre your bike through a series of different obstacle courses. Skill and strategy will be of utmost importance to navigate objects of varying heights and complexity. While you race against the clock, you will earn points for every set of markers cleared.
Categories (male and female): “Beginner”, “Intermediate”, and “Advanced”.

Bike Trials ‘Come and Try’ – Free!
New to the world of bike trials? Improve your balance and bike handling skills in this hands on introduction to Bike Trials. BYO bike – platform pedals preferred. Limited spots available.
Entry fee: FREE
Max entrants: 12 per session (2 sessions).

We are currently working with health officials in the hope that we will be able to provide a great camping experience at the 2021 Sea Otter Australia. We recognize the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is dynamic in nature, and we will coordinate with local officials, health agencies, and event partners to adapt preparations consistent with the latest protocols. As we learn more, and open camping registration we will communicate updates in the coming months.
