Kids Zone

September 28 to October 2, 2023

Across the weekend we will showcase a swag of riding opportunities for kids of all ages.  Best of all Рmost activities are FREE to enter, so no-one is left out.

And just in case your child doesn’t have a bike – no sweat…we will have a limited set of hire bikes available. Bear with us here though!!…subject to size and availability. But we’ll do our best to make sure your child gets a kinder-surprise ride!!

For kids who are more experienced or just more adventurous, we have partnered with the folks at Dynamic Motivation who will deliver a range of children’s mountain biking skills clinics. All Dynamic Motivation instructors are fully PMBI accredited and have all appropriate ‘working with children’ certifications, so you know your little ones are safe. We will soon release the clinic schedules as well as pricing.

The Roller Dome

Not too hard and not too soft, our Kids Roller Dome will be a great fun area for kids of all ages to ride around our Roller Dome track. Whether they’re on their strider or their first mountain bike – the Roller Dome is pure¬†FUN – plain and simple.

Dynamic Motivation clinics

Details on the massive weekend schedule of clinics available to kids will be released soon.

The Hunt

One of the mainstays of the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey is their Easter Egg Hunt. That’s because, SOC lands around Easter time. The kids love the hunt for eggs and prizes.

So we’re keen to find a way that we can incorporate some of that heritage SOC culture into Sea Otter Australia in October. What to do…What to do…??

We’re keen to get your thoughts. What would be a great Hunt for kids to engage in over the weekend. Let us know by emailing your ideas to Our Team

We are currently working with health officials in the hope that we will be able to provide a great camping experience at the 2021 Sea Otter Australia. We recognize the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is dynamic in nature, and we will coordinate with local officials, health agencies, and event partners to adapt preparations consistent with the latest protocols. As we learn more, and open camping registration we will communicate updates in the coming months.
